Power Rangers, the superhero television series that aired in the 90s and the noughties, has always been a favorite of everyone growing up in that era. Young children and teenagers all over the world grew up watching Power Rangers.
The first Power Rangers entry, ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ was an instant hit, and launched the ‘Power Rangers era’. Recently, people who grew up watching the first version of the classic TV series were left heartbroken when Jason David Frank passed away earlier today. Frank played the show’s green ranger, Tommy Oliver.

The show made its debut back in 1993. Jason David Frank was best known for his role as Tommy Oliver in this series, as the green and white ranger. Although he started out as an enemy of the Power Rangers, he soon switched sides and joined the heroes.
Later, he reprised his role as a Power Ranger in several other shows such as, ‘Wild Force,’ ‘Turbo,’ ‘Zeo,’ ‘Dino Thunder,’ ‘Megaforce,’ ‘Ninja Steel’, and many more. Frank was a trained martial artist, MMA fighter, and was also well-versed in Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Judo, and several more. He was 49 at the time of his passing.

However, apart from Power Rangers, David Frank also starred in several other series. He was a part of the 1990 series, ‘Sweet Valley High’ , ‘ VR Troopers’ and an episode of ‘We Bare Bears’. The 2023 movie, ‘ Legend of the White Dragon’ was his last project in the entertainment industry.

It began as a short film in 2020, however it was switched into a full-length feature film. It boasts an impressive cast that includes actors such as Jason Faunt, Ciara Hanna, along with Mark Dacascos and Frank’s daughter Jenna.
