It’s always a lovely day when you hear that John Cena might sail back to the WWE after his time away. But, just like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena booked his ticket to Hollywood.

This move is driven by exploring a professional career away from wrestling and transitioning to being an actor. Indeed, John Cena has blown the roof off with his acting essence. Not only has Cena been giving blockbuster movies, but recently he ventured into a superhero world.

‘The Champ’ John Cena portrayed the titular role of a different kind of superhero of the DC universe as Peacemaker. Even though ‘The Champ’ has been on a wrestling sabbatical, Cena might have a surprise for the WWE Universe.

John Cena gives a one-word response about his return to the WWE!

‘The Champ’ recently spoke to Adam Glynn of Adam’ Apple, where he spilled the beans of a potential return. The 16-time World Champion John Cena was asked about a comeback to the squared circle.

Cena replied, “Soon. I know in WWE years, I turn 20 pretty soon, so that’s a big thing. And from a pretty storied class of folks. Batista, Randy Orton, Brock [Lesnar], we kind of all turn 20 this year. I am aware that is coming around the corner, and who knows?”

The Peacemaker star knows that his 20th anniversary with the WWE is on the doorstep. Notably, Cena comes from the same batch as Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Batista.

Naturally, it is a big deal to celebrate 20 years in Mr. McMahon’s company. Hence, the WWE Universe had to wait until the 20th anniversary of Cena and a possible return on that occasion.

Will Cena’s Hollywood schedule allow him to get back to the squared circle?

John Cena last returned to Vince McMahon’s WWE at Money in the Bank 2021. He was on a mission to become a 17-time World Champion at the cost of humbling Roman Reigns. However, ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns crushed Cena’s mission and sent him back to Hollywood.

As of now, Cena mentioned that because of his acting commitment, he has some major projects coming on his way. So, it is difficult for ‘The Champ’ to turn down a few opportunities in Hollywood.

“But it’s one of those hard truths to bare, there’s a lot of cool stuff going on, and I don’t want to say no to any of these opportunities that are on my doorstep. I don’t know when I will be back, but hopefully, it is soon. I’ve been gone for too long,” John Cena added.
