Celebrities were integral to what has made WWE such a big and profitable company. One of the most recurring celebrities who has been circling the WWE brand forever is none other than the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. Since the time when Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Snuka were ruling the roster, Trump has been a supporter of the WWE brand.

This friendship between the two powerful people also led to Trump making appearances at WWE shows. One of the most recognizable of these was the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 25. But the true WrestleMania fans will remember that this wasn’t the only one. There was one at the historic WrestleMania 20, and this one was very beneficial for a particular WWE legend as well.
Donald Trump offered support for this WWE legend in politics
When Jesse Ventura came out to WrestleMania 20, who knew he would interview the one and only Donald Trump? In their little segment in 2013, Ventura asked the former President about his experience with WrestleMania and he said, “It means a lot. I was involved with Vince for a long time. He is a great guy. He has really done an unbelievable job. I’m here with my son and we’re having a good time.”
After that, the WWE legend asked about Trump’s support if he dives into the political world again. Without hesitating, Trump proudly said, “You know that, 100%.” Granted that Trump already helped out the wife of his friend, Linda McMahon, climb her way into the office during his historic presidency, Ventura just might have had a chance.

Truth be told; since Trump’s big storyline with Vince McMahon, nothing has felt bigger than that. While Logan Paul and Bad Bunny doing crazy moves at WrestleMania was incredible, they didn’t have big names involved. That match at WrestleMania catalyzed the careers of Bobby Lashley and Umaga. It also outshined the two other big-name matches on the card as well.
