Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest wrestlers and it comes as no surprise that a biopic is being made in the honor of his professional wrestling career. Not only is Netflix the production house, but it also stars Chris Hemsworth as Hulk Hogan.

The actor who got his biggest acting role in Marvel’s Thor, whose 4th part is due next month, has a good relationship with Netflix. Starring in two Netflix movies, this year alone, Extraction and Spiderhead, the actor is going to be in the Hulk Hogan biopic and Extraction 2. But he recently revealed some news about the former which might upset Hulk Hogan fans.

In an interview with Comic Book, promoting his new movie, Spiderhead, the interviewer asked him about the Hulk Hogan biopic.

To which he replied, “Oh look, that film’s [Hulk Hogan’s biopic] a while away. That’s in the development stage. You know, and if that comes to fruition, great. Todd Phillips is brilliant. I haven’t ripped any shirts off yet but you’ll be the first one to hear about it when I do.”
So as the man himself revealed, the Hulk Hogan movie seems to be in the development stage. This means that the people behind the screen have yet to decide on all the moving parts in the movie. With Todd Phillips, The Joker’s director, at the helm, the movie is in good hands.
What can we see in the Hulk Hogan movie?

But all this talk about the Hulkster‘s movie might have led to you thinking, what to expect from this movie? While it will include the childhood and struggles of a young Hogan, this movie will focus on his pro wrestling career more.
Being brought in by Terry Funk in the WWF, we can hopefully see Hogan’s first run with WWF. This would lead the movie to pop into the climax when Hogan returned to the WWF to beat The Iron Sheik and win the WWF World title and kick-start the Hulkamania era.
If the movie goes forward, we can expect to see Hulk Hogan’s main event at the first-ever WrestleMania, bringing in the likes of Mr. T, ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper, ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton, and ‘Mr. Wonderful’ Paul Orndorff.
