It is no secret that Shaq is a professional wrestling fan and has made several appearances in WWE and AEW. However, Shaq’s most remembered appearances in pro-wrestling are in WWE.

Shaq has appeared twice on WWE television. One of his appearance was as a participant in André the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 where he confronted The Big Show.
Shaquille O’Neal makes Mark Henry look small
The WWE Universe is aware of two appearances of Shaquille O’ Neal on the show after his basketball retirement. However, Shaq has been a regular at WWE shows even before his retirement.
In fact, NBA star was present at Cyber Sunday in 2008. A resurfaced photo on WWE.com confirms his appearance at Cyber Sunday 2008. The picture is of Shaq and World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry, shaking hands.
Shaquille O’ Neal is over 7 feet tall and is making Mark Henry look like a cruiserweight next to him. Just for context, Mark Henry is 6 feet 5 inches tall and was considered the World’s Strongest Man in the world!

Other appearances of NBA star Shaq in professional wrestling
Shaquille O’ Neal is an avid lover of pro wrestling and is a huge fan of WWE legend Hulk Hogan. In fact, Shaq’s first ever appearance on a wrestling show was on WCW Bash at the Beach 1994, where he presented the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to Hulk Hogan.
Shaq has appeared in WWE twice, once in 2009 as the guest host for a live broadcast of WWE’s Monday Night Raw. Also, once a participant of participant in Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33.

Apart from WWE, he has appeared backstage at Impact Wrestling for a segment with Hulk Hogan. His most appearance was at AEW Dynamite in March 2021, teaming with Jade Cargill to defeat Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.
