There are NBA lovers in almost every part of the world. Even being in an entirely different sports entertainment, WWE Legend, Ric Flair, is one massive NBA fan. It seems, more than the sport, he loves one of the greatest NBA players, LeBron James. There’s no fault in it. However, fans had caught him recently, being a hypocrite as his love for his favorite made him call out another outstanding player, Michael Jordan. 

Last year, Flair called King James, the NBA GOAT in a brutal confession to Jordan. Not only then, but he has long been a LeBron supporter and has never shied away from calling him the GOAT. Even though it isn’t the first time that The Nature Boy spoke highly of his beloved NBA player, this time fans weren’t ready to settle for less.

A few hours back, Los Angeles Lakers won their final regular season game 128-117 to surge into the postseason as the seventh seed in the Western Conference. The regular season also saw James finishing in style, scoring 36 points. And as soon as that happened, it took Ric Flair no time to post a picture of The L-train on his Instagram with an interesting caption.

He wrote, “@stephenasmith! Please Give Him The Recognition He Deserves! LBJ IS THE MAN!! And The GOAT! 36-6-6, Too Much 💪🏻 Wooooo @kingjames!”

Here, Flair straightaway labeled James as the GOAT despite the player not justifying the former’s iconic quote. The WWE Hall of Famer has a famous quote that he always believed in which goes like this, “To be the man, you gotta beat the man.” And in the case of the 38-year-old player, this isn’t happening as he never defeated MJ. Thus, fans were enraged by the hypocrisy of Flair.

As soon as the 74-year-old posted on Instagram naming LeBron James as the GOAT, fans bashed him for his remark. The Michael Jordan fans arrived to comment back without wasting much time.
