The Big Diesel also named Ric Flair as one of his all-time favorites, but admitted that he can’t do the one thing ‘The Nature Boy’ is good at.
Shaq reveals he can’t do Flair’s signature shout
In an interview with The Post Game, Shaq was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling.
The NBA legend was reluctant at first, saying that there are too many great names and he didn’t want to disrespect anyone.
Finally, he gave in and named a few wrestlers who he thought belonged at the top.
He said, “I don’t want to disrespect any guys. There are a lot of great names. But I’ll try. Hulk Hogan, see, but I’m kind of weird because I used to like guys like Jimmy Snuka, “Junkyard Dog. Bad Bad Leroy Brown. I liked guys like that. And of course, Ric Flair”.
After mentioning Flair’s name, Shaq tried to do his signature shout ‘Wooo!’ but couldn’t get the high pitch in his voice.
He said, “I wish I could do it. I can’t go high, yeah I could never go high,” after giving it another shot.
There are very few things that the great Shaquille O’Neal cannot do and it turns out Flair’s iconic shout is one of them.
