Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest basketball players ever. But the NBA legend also has a keen interest in pro wrestling. And this is a secret to none. In the past, Shaq has come across several WWE superstars, including The Undertaker’s kayfabe half-brother, Kane.

Kane has been one of the most destructive men in WWE. Given his height and strength, Kane emerged as one dominant individual during his WWE career. Fans even called him ‘The Big Red Monster’.

But WWE‘s The Big Red Monster also looked small next to Shaquille O’Neal in a rare photo, just like many other WWE stars. In the photo, you can see Kane alongside Shaquille O’Neal and his children, Shareef and Myles.

On that night at Cyber Sunday 2008, The NBA Legend met several WWE stars backstage, including Kane. WWE posted the pictures on their official website.

But apart from that night, you may have also seen Shaq alongside top WWE stars like Triple H and Brock Lesnar. And just like Kane, Lesnar and ‘The Game’ also looked small next to the enormous Shaquille O’Neal.

Did Shaquille O’Neal appear on WWE television?

The answer is yes. In fact, the NBA legend also competed in a match in WWE, prior to his AEW tag team match. In 2016, Shaquille O’Neal surprised everyone by entering the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Everyone, including the other competitors, looked shocked as Shaq entered the squared circle. The legendary basketball player got involved in a confrontation with The Big Show.

But all the other superstars teamed up and eliminated The Big Show and Shaquille O’Neal. This was not his first WWE appearance. In 2009, he served as the guest host for an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Later, in 2020, O’Neal teamed up with Jade Cargill to defeat Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet in a tag team match on AEW. Also, not to forget, Shaq appeared in WCW prior to his WWE and AEW appearances.
