Recently, he has made a huge contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that Cena has largely been synonymous with.

The former Chicago Bulls star has reportedly donated a large sum of $10 million dollars to the charity. He performed this noble task on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The organization has been around for 43 years and this is the single largest gift that it has received. This certainly pales the record-breaking number of wishes that Cena has granted for the company. Jordan’s herculean gesture is very rare and is unlikely to be broken anytime soon.

Cena granted his first wish way back in 2002 and continues to do so till date. Even after switching professions, he makes sure to keep up the good work. ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics’ has granted the most wishes for any celebrity across all fields. Cena has granted 650 wishes so far and will certainly continue to add to the tally in the future. The 16-time world champion is the holder of many records, but this would be the one he is the proudest for.

Whether on the court or off it, Michael Jordan continues to set the benchmark for others. His decision to donate $10 million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation will impact many lives. While John Cena may have been overtaken in terms of the amount, the sheer number of wishes he has granted will forever be remembered.
