The $800 million star once used to be a regular visitor of a famous store, Walmart, until his inflated stardom snatched this freedom from him.

Besides being a wrestling phenom, a Hollywood mogul, and an astute business mind, The Rock is widely known for his quirks. Be it spending hours taking care of his fish’s health in the pond, taking a long drive at midnight, or hitting the gym at odd hours, Johnson never fails to innovate new ways to keep himself cool and composed even amidst a hectic schedule.

The actor once opened up about his habit of visiting the store of Walmart at midnight to escape fans’ sly eyes. He, in fact, used a weird hat as a face cover to roam peacefully around the shop. But eventually, he got caught and was compelled to stop going to the place.

‘I used to love going Walmart at midnight until I just couldn’t do it anymore. I used to try and hide. I’d wear like a fisherman’s hat low. ‘‘ DJ spilled during an appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show in 2022.

However, DJ isn’t the only famous personality associated with Walmart in one way or another. There is another sports phenom, the NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal, who has really boosted the store with his crazy antics.

There is no shortage of bizarre stories cooking around the former Lakers man. Besides having an impressive record in NBA, Shaq scored an unthinkable off-court record, too. The NBA star spent a whopping $70000 at Walmart. Shaq claimed that this was the highest-ever purchase at the store.

It might sound ridiculous, but Shaq had his reasons. When he got traded from Miami to the Phoenix Suns, he had to shift to a new bare apartment. To harness the home, he needed to buy essentials like TVs, laptops, towels, sheets, and some other things, and Walmart was the most feasible option location-wise.
