WWE has a history of having some great giant wrestlers in the company. The most known WWE giants are Andre the Giant, Big Show, Kane, The Great Khali, who made a name for themselves in the company. The current roster also has a giant wrestler, Omos, who is in consideration to be a WWE superstar nobody has ever seen.
Omos debuted in 2020 as a bouncer for Shane McMahon’s RAW underground. He later joined forces with AJ Styles and won the RAW tag team championship at WrestleMania 37.

Sometime back before WrestleMania 38, Omos appeared in the WWE Fox show Out of Character with Ryan Satin. It was a first major interview of The Colossal One after debuting in WWE and it was a delight for everyone to know the person.
Omos shared an incident on the show, which he described as a horrible experience. He is from Nigeria, where the temperature is humid. Omos had to go to Florida, but because of some immigration process problem, he went to Maryland.

Omos said, “So originally, I was supposed to move to, I suppose, go to Montverde in Florida, which is one of the top ten schools in the country, right. And then something happened with the immigration process. It got delayed, and then he got switched to Montrose Christian School in Maryland. Okay. Montrose Maryland, which is the same high school Kevin Durant, went to the same coach. So I go there. This is January 8, 2008. Man, it’s cold as hell. I’ve never seen winter in my life. This is my first time seeing snow. And it was a huge residence shock.”
Omos, who is from Nigeria originally, could not handle winter over there. He is normally used to hot weather similar to Nigeria. This was the massive culture shock for The Colossal One.
The winter clothes were not enough for Omos
Omos claimed he had never seen winter in his life as he migrated from Nigeria. When he was in Maryland, he was stunned by the amount of snow and the decreasing temperature. Omos described is being used to Nigerian like weather, which is found in Florida and Texas mainly.
He said his father brought him some winter clothes, which were not enough for him as the climate was cold beyond his imagination.
Omos said, “And I remember my dad had ordered some like winter stuff for me from Dubai. And I was like, Okay, this should work. And I got to the airport. I’m like, nah, this is not good enough. I need something else. This is not doing anything.”

It was hectic but a sublime experience for The Colossal One as he later settled into a place that has a humid climate when he joined the WWE.
