There is no doubt that Michael Jordan is one of the legends of basketball. His popularity was not just within the NBA, but stars from other sports were also massive fans of him. Similarly, MJ once met Paul Heyman back in the day when he was an active NBA star. They have a rare picture about which The Wise Man recently shared a story.

Heyman met Air Jordan several years back at a China Club in New York. However, he recalled the story behind his picture with the NBA legend recently.
Paul Heyman recalls meeting Michael Jordan
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, The Special Counsel of Roman Reigns shared details of his meeting with the ‘Black Cat’. Heyman started by saying, “It’s from the China Club…I think Michael Jordan was blessed to meet me.” Heyman used to visit China Club on Monday Nights almost every week. He shared that the club wasn’t a great place to meet and that he used to be at the club’s office. He reminisces about Jordan hanging out at the club once while he was there.

The Wise man said, “Michael Jordan was hanging out the same time I was hanging out and the photographer, the China Club gentleman named Dominic Conbe, who is a fabulous photographer said, ‘I gotta get you guys together’. I said okay and then we just shook hands and we were just talking about some common friends we had in Chicago for a moment.”
The Special Counsel added, “Then Dominic wants to take a picture and boom we just had the idea of going back to back and you know me doing this about it of how taller he is than I’m. I appreciate it Michael Jordan was a wanna-be Paul Heyman guy.”

‘His Airness’ is the biggest star at the events after retirement and it is odd that he never appeared on WWE as a guest. Surprisingly, Vince McMahon approached him for an appearance, but Jordan never responded.

Even though Jordan never appeared on WWE shows, he has aligned with ‘Mr. McMahon’. He once appeared on the WWE magazine cover in 1995 alongside Lex Luger.

The six-time NBA Champion joined hands with WWE to work on a global project back in 1995. Jordan’s one WWE appearance would have taken the company to the next level, but it’s great to see he worked with the company on some other project.
