To say that LeBron James is an influential athlete in the sport of basketball would be an understatement. Not only has James proven to be a better man on the court, but has also impressed everyone with his physical regime.

However, basketball is not the only sport that the King loves so much. James has always shown his affection for the pro-wrestling business, and as we all know, the biggest pro-wrestling promotion is WWE, so it’s safe to say that LeBron James is a fan of WWE.

It is not us assuming the fact, James has appeared on live events and has rocked WWE merch on multiple occasions.

When LeBron was just a rookie in 2003, he went to attend a live show of Monday Night Raw where he got himself a ticket off the front row and enjoyed the show firsthand.

The joy of witnessing superstars battling it out inside the squared circle was clearly seen on the young James’ face. After the show, he even went backstage and clicked multiple pictures with several superstars.

Even Ric Flair admits that LeBron James is a fan

Back in 2016, after a New York Knicks game, TMZ Sports bagged a quick interview with two-time WWE Hall of Famer and his daughter Charlotte Flair, and it was then when Flair admitted that James is a fan.

“LeBron James … first time I met him — well, I’ve met him before — first time I saw him, in the last couple of years, first thing he said to me he wanted to know if I had my Rolex on. He said [wrestling] kept him out of trouble in high school,” he admitted.

Chiefly, this is not the first time a WWE legend has voiced his opinion about James being a WWE fan.

James gave a tribute to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

Back in 2003, when James attended Monday Night Raw, the WWE Universe witnessed James clicking the picture of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin using a flip phone.

On Austin’s birthday, LeBron paid tribute to Austin when he sported a ‘LeBron 3:16’ shirt with a skull printed on the back with #23 on it.
