Cole Custer raced at NASCAR Xfinity Series, Fontana, on Saturday night. Winning the race this week, Cole won the title at his home track for the second time. However, it was Custer’s post-race celebration that caught the eye of the avid wrestling fans. After the race, Custer stood and bashed two beer cans together and chugged the beer that was pouring down, just like WWE icon, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

This is not the first time a person from a different sport celebrated like Steve Austin after their accomplishments. Back in 2021, UFC heavyweight, Tai Tuivasa celebrated like Austin after his win at UFC 269.

Stone Cold Steve Austin might be at WrestleMania 38
Earlier this year, various reports suggest that the Texas Rattlesnake might be at this year’s WrestleMania. However, he will not just be a host or a special attraction of that night. Instead, he is rumored to be involved in some in-ring action at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’.

Austin is said to be in the ring with the former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. There has been no official announcement on WWE TV or their website. However, Owens has already started to tease his match-up with Austin.
I beat John Cena in my first match in @WWE.
Unbelievable moment. I’ll never forget it. It’s something I’ll look back on fondly forever but there is a dark cloud around that memory, just one thing I wish I could change…
I wish it would have happened anywhere but Texas 🤮🤮🤮

These days, Owens would openly show his hatred for Texas and even take this out on his Twitter handle and on live TV. This could all lead up to an angle between Austin and Owens. Because Austin is from Texas and Owens has been nothing but disrespectful to Texas.
When was Austin’s last match in WWE?
Steve Austin was an integral part of Vince McMahon’s WWE in the late 90s. However, the beer-chugging superstar suffered a grave neck injury in 1998 when he was wrestling with Owen Hart at the SummerSlam premium live event.

Eventually, Austin couldn’t put more pressure on his neck and he retired in 2003. However, Austin retired in a historic fashion. The WWE Hall of Famer had his last match against The Rock at WrestleMania 19 main event.
