WWE has been associating itself with various other sports over the years in order to expose itself to a newer audience. WWE’s rise in popularity has also meant many sports leagues and personalities want to be a part of their programming too. Although a lot of sports hold prominence over WWE, a few enjoy their worldwide popularity. In the past few years, NASCAR drivers such as Bubba Wallace and Kyle Busch have appeared on WWE programming. Busch even won the 24/7 Championship on an episode of RAW.
This year ahead of a NASCAR event in Indianapolis and SummerSlam in Nashville, many drivers tried to imitate WWE superstars and did their impressions.
Bubba Wallace does a perfect impression of Dwayne Johnson
Over the years, WWE stars have given fans some of the most iconic gestures and catchphrases. From Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Raised Eyebrow’ to John Cena’s ‘You Can’t See Me’, many fans and celebrities have tried to imitate these gestures. Recently it was the turn of NASCAR drivers to try some WWE impressions.
NASCAR released a video ahead of its Indianapolis event, which featured many of its biggest names. They tried to pull off many WWE superstars’ impressions, including Stone Cold Steve Austin’s iconic beer-catching gig, The Miz’s “I’m Awesome” line, and The Rock’s famous People’s Eyebrow raise.

As fans can see in the video, Bubba Wallace nails his Dwayne Johnson impression so perfectly that The Great One would’ve been proud of that. There are also good impressions of the same by Austin Dillon and Ryan Blaney while Michael McDowell fails to pull it off entirely. But, with just one eyebrow raise, Wallace could bring back memories of Rocky’s heel era.

We also see another NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick pull off a ‘You Can’t See Me’ in this video. However, it was Bubba Wallace’s impression of The Rock that caught the eye of everyone. This was another example of WWE and NASCAR using cross-promotion effectively to get more eyes on their respective products.
