WWE and UFC forged a significant connection which has been more cemented after the two big entertainment giants merged into a single publicly traded company under Endeavour group as part of a massive $21 billion deal earlier this week. However, the two business juggernauts will continue to operate separately as two different departments of the parent company.

Amid the massive speculation and buzz regarding the future connection between WWE and UFC, this Saturday, UFC 287: Pereira vs Adesanya 2 took place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. One of the top MMA pay-per-view events saw some high-profile WWE Hall of Famers gracing the VIP chairs. The controversial attendees include former US President Donald Trump, celebrity singer Kid Rock, and boxing legend Mike Tyson. They were spotted together in a picture along with UFC president Dana White.

Mike Tyson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a year after his boxing Hall of Fame induction. Trump got his hands in the Hall of Fame honor in 2013 through Vince McMahon. Kid Rock joined the list in 2018 when Triple H inducted him into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.

Fans reacted to the picture of the three controversial Hall of Famers in one frame

Despite attaining the honor in WWE and in their other area of expertise as well, this is safe to say that these three high-profile figures hold no goodwill among the fans because of their several controversial deeds. So quite expectedly, as soon as the picture went viral on Twitter, fans went wild.

They didn’t leave a single chance to call out their notorious deeds in the form of some intense sarcasm.

Some of them also pointed at Vince McMahon’s absence in the major UFC event.

A few of them find only Mike Tyson better than the other three from the perspective of lesser evil concepts.

Referring to the recent Bud Light controversy involving Kid Rock, one of the users shot a point jeer at the popular rapper.

However, irrespective of the presence of a few WWE-associated personalities at the UFC 287 event doesn’t mean the fans are getting their wish. Despite WWE and UFC merging together under one umbrella, a notable UFC personality refuted suggestions that the two companies will work in tandem regularly.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the UFC head honcho reflected on the good sides of the blockbuster merger with WWE. However, he made it very clear that the chance of crossovers between the sports company is low due to the clear differences between WWE and MMA.

He noted, ”The difference between UFC and WWE is, if you look at the WWE, they have an entertainment value, and they have these guys that are incredible athletes that go in there and do their thing. It’s well known that it’s scripted. When you look at the UFC, this is as real as it gets. That’s our tagline. There are no predetermined outcomes in the UFC. There won’t really be any type of crossover.”
