The 18,885-strong O2 Arena in United Kingdom’s London was in for a huge surprise! At Money In The Bank PLE, WWE icon John Cena paid a surprise visit to the arena and won the crowd over. The Cenation Leader of late has become a huge crowd favorite, leaving behind the days he was booed with chants of “Cena s**ks”.

Cena reminded the spectators that this was the first WWE PLE in London in 20 years. He then questioned what took the promotion so long, taking a shot at WWE. The 16-time world champion then decided to be frank with the crowd and said some people are afraid that they are going to cause distraction, referring to the raucous nature of the O2 crowd. The crowd did drop a bit, unhappy with the criticism.

But then Cena won them over with a heartfelt line. “You are the voice, you are the heartbeat, you’re not trying to take over the show – you are the show!,” he said, as the spectators cheered him on.

Triple H reveals his thoughts on John Cena’s WrestleMania proposal

After Cena cut his promo, there was a huge buzz regarding his WrestleMania proposal. The marquee event has never been held anywhere else apart from North America. So, if Cena’s wish come true, it would also force the WWE to ditch their tradition and fly to a different continent to host the show.

At the MITB press conference, Triple H came clean on the feasibility of the WWE hosting WrestleMania at London. As far as WrestleMania goes, it’s tough. I wish it was that easy. I wish it was as easy to say as, ‘Like, man, that’s phenomenal there. Let’s go.’ We’d be going to a lot of places,” he said.
