You fear it coming, and it came true nevertheless. What a predictable way to close out the World Championship match in MITB 2024. CM Punk once again did what he does best. Getting the better of Drew Mclntyre at crucial junctures has become a ritual for the 45-year-old, something that irked fans to a great extent. Venting out their frustration on Twitter, half of the WWE fanfare blamed the creative for ruining their mojo to watch the PLE.
The Scottish superstar scored a clean victory in the Money in the Bank men’s ladder match, outshining the other determined men vying for the briefcase. The self-assured wrestler already claimed beforehand that he was coming tonight to leave the arena as a world champion. So, before we could blink, anticipating the chance of his cash-in, he played in the chance only to get caught in Punk’s vicious trap again. Fans hated to see it coming so early.

The number of times Punk successfully ruined McIntyre’s winning celebration is crazy. The same state of affairs that happened in Scotland with the Scottish Warrior transpired yet again as CM Punk failed to live up to his promise. Fans put all the blame on Triple H.
/ And people say Triple H is a good booker LOL.
I guess good booking is Drew McIntyre getting screwed over 4x by the same guy. What a waste of a cash-in. https://t.co/Mx3D8kzvqZ
