A few hours ago, WWE Universe got their Mr and Miss Money in the Bank 2023. The fan favorite for the women’s ladder match, the Damage CTRL member Iyo Sky secured the victory, and the outcome satisfied the fans. However, the same can’t be said for the men’s ladder match. Fans are not happy as LA Knight didn’t get the much-desired victory.

They even came on Twitter and started to express their displeasure with the company’s decision. However, it seems like the 16-time WWE world champion John Cena thinks a little differently than fans as he did something that might upset them.

John Cena’s surprise appearance acted as a cherry on the top at Money in the Bank PLE. Cena also dropped a hint of WrestleMania coming to England soon. This filled the fans with enthusiasm and joy. Cena didn’t just talk to the fans but also showed some in-ring action. He delivered  ‘Attitude Adjustment’ to Grayson Waller who interrupted Cena while he was cutting the promo and gave fans a glimpse of his still-sharp in-ring skills.

However, at the very next moment, Cena did the unexpected which may not fit well with the fans. WWE tweeted a picture of John Cena posing with the Money in the Bank winners Iyo Sky and The Judgement Day member Damien Priest and seemingly endorsing the heel Priest.

This didn’t fit well with the WWE Universe. And the reason behind this is their disagreement with WWE’s decision of making Damien Priest Mr Money in the Bank 2023. Since fans didn’t appreciate WWE choosing Priest over LA Knight, they must have not been thrilled with Cena’s move. Some fans even expressed their feelings via tweets saying that a picture with LA Knight would have looked much better.
