Ronda Rousey’s Honest Confession Once Proved Arnold Schwarzenegger Was Right About the Former UFC Champion

Ronda Rousey and Arnold Schwarzenegger have a great friendship. We have seen them several times praising each other. ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ was a fighter in the Bantamweight. Her opponents rarely saw round two. 

However, once, ‘The Arm Collector’ called her nature similar to one of Arnie’s most memorable characters.

The current WWE superstar Ronda Rousey stormed the world of MMA world with her amazing fighting skills. It seems her only motive was to enter the Octagon, defeat her opponent, and leave like Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Terminator.

Once in 2013, Rousey appeared on the Dan Patrick Show. She talked about her Terminator-like nature while fighting makes her great in the sport. The UFC legend said, “I fight emotionless. I have no emotion when I fight”. 

Moreover, Rousey added, “Like I’m entirely in the present moment, and I just observe everything and make quick, snap decisions off of all those observations. It’s really hard to describe.”

The Terminator is arguably the most iconic Hollywood character the ‘Austrian Oak’ ever played. The primary aim of a Terminator is to eliminate the target. Therefore, the machine will not stop until it has eliminated its victim.

Rousey was also in a similar stream for a few years during her time in the UFC. She can be called the Terminator of MMA as she literally destroyed her opponents in the Octagon. ‘The Baddest Woman’ was undefeated for 12 fights in MMA.

As said before, The Terminator character and the movies are iconic. Fans and critics widely praised the way Arnie played the role of The Terminator. There are some traits of character which make Rousey a Terminator of MMA. Further, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself agreed with the same.

While speaking with UFC in 2015, Schwarzenegger stated, “Ronda Rousey is kind of like the female Terminator that is relentless and feels no rush, feels no pain, no remorse, no pity.”

The bodybuilding legend further added, “And I think she will bring new grounds (in the sport) every single day.”

Clearly, the stakes are always high for Ronda Rousey where she is. Shockingly, Arnie claimed two years later after ‘The Arm Collector’ called herself an emotionless fighter before her huge fight against Holly Holm.
