WWE Legend Feels Triple H Will Use 7-Time WWE Champion Brock Lesnar for a ‘Take a Breath’ Match: “We Are Excited for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn..”

After WWE Elimination Chamber last month, WWE decided to move on from the Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley‘s feud despite an unsatisfying ending. Both the supersets are now on different paths and are currently involved in separate storylines as we move toward WrestleMania.

The All-Mighty is handling the Bray Wyatt business for now while, Lesnar has his plate full as he is set to take on, Omos at WrestleMania. The Beast vs The Nigerian Giant is going to be a big event at The Showcase of Immortals next month.

However, a former WWE Heavyweight Champion thinks that the upcoming clash of the two superstars is not garnering as much attention from the fans as it should.

Mark Henry says fans are not excited about Lesnar’s WrestleMania match

During the recent episode of the Busted Open podcast, Mark Henry gave his opinion on Lesnar and Omos’ match next month at The Grandest Stage of Them All. He stated he feels like the WWE Universe is not quite thrilled about the match.

The WWE Hall of Famer gave the example of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s recent reunion on SmackDown and stated the fans are far more “excited” for the possible Owens-Zayn vs The Usos match. He labeled the Lesnar-Omos bout “an attraction match” rather than “a gimmick match.”

“I don’t think people are excited like we are excited for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and The Usos. It’s not at that level,” said Henry. He feels that Triple H booked the match as a pre-main event to allow fans to “take a breath,” before the actual showdown happens.

Henry adds that though the bout does not match the fans’ excitement level, it will surely entertain them. Seeing Lesnar and Omos stand next to each other is bound to make the fans excited and anxious at the same time.

When WWE booked Lesnar and Omos to square off at WrestleMania in April, The Beast’s fans highly criticized it. The fans poured their outrage on social media stating that Triple H is doing an injustice to Lesnar’s reputation.

Lesnar’s reputation walks in front of him. In the past, he had always faced only the top names in the Stamford-based promotion. That is why The Game became the victim of fans’ anger when he gave a green light to Lesnar vs Omos at WrestleMania in Hollywood.
