WWE star Rhea Ripley has especially come into her own and embraced her role as the ‘muscle’ of the group. Her astonishing strength was on display on the latest episode of RAW, when she body-slammed O. C member Luke Gallows.

A 136 lbs wrestler body-slamming a nearly 300lbs person is no mean feat, and the incident got everyone talking. Many compared it to other notable accomplishments of strengths in WWE by female wrestlers. WWE personality Matt Camp also tweeted about the moment and threw shade at Hulk Hogan.
Matt Camp referred to Hulk Hogan over Rhea Ripley’s body slam
Rhea Ripley stunned the wrestling fans after she body-slammed the 291lbs Luke Gallows on Monday Night RAW. The moment received a huge pop from the live audience and was a hot topic on social media. This reminded fans of superstars like Chyna and Beth Phoenix, who often used to lock horns with their male counterparts on the roster.
Ripley has been actively engaging male stars like Dominik Mysterio and Edge recently and this was a show of pure strength and power from the former NXT Women’s Champion.
Her moment on RAW also had the fans talking about another epic body-slam involving WWE legends, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant.

In fact, WWE on the BT Sport Twitter account posted the video with the caption, “THE SLAM HEARD AROUND THE WORLD “, a line which is often used in reference to Hogan body-slamming Andre at WrestleMania III.
This drew the attention of Matt Camp, who hosts shows such as WWE Bump and RAW Talk among others. He retweeted the video while throwing shade at Hogan as well.

Incidentally, Hogan had claimed that he tore 18 muscles in his back when he slammed Andre. He also said he tore both his biceps while executing the move at WrestleMania III. Many believe this is an outlandish claim and Camp’s tweet can be viewed as a tongue-in-cheek reference to this fact.

Although his claim about injuring himself this badly is true or not, the ‘Hulkster’ has suffered a lot of injuries, especially to his back over the years.
