Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a megastar in Hollywood today, but everyone knows about his previous career in WWE. There are rumors of him returning to WWE to face cousin Roman Reigns for the past two years.
Recently, a mega rumor popped of The Rock might win the Royal Rumble next year and challenge Reigns. Even though fans want The Rock vs Roman Reigns, they don’t want The Great One to win the Royal Rumble.

Dave Meltzer recently noted in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter a huge update on The Rock WWE return. He shared that the 10-time world champion could win the Royal Rumble and challenge Roman Reigns for the title at WrestleMania.
He said, “The idea we heard regarding a discussion and nothing more, like I said, it’s been talked about as a pie-in-the-sky is a surprise No. 30 entrant and winning. It could be something only a few people know but as best we can tell there is nothing official to it right now past a rumor”
When the newsletter was published, not many fans were on the same page for DJ to win the Royal Rumble. The Rock can just pop up on a WWE show and challenge the ‘Head of the Table’ for a match for the titles at WrestleMania 39.
WWE has always kept the number 30 entrant a surprise for the fan at Royal Rumble. For two years, rumors of The Rock returning to face, ‘The Tribal Chief’ have surfed up on social media. However, the WWE Universe hopes to see Cody Rhodes to win.
Shockingly, there are fans saying Rhodes should win the Royal Rumble and challenge Reigns for a title. Furthermore, Meltzer also noted, ‘The American Nightmare’ is back in the gym and training with top trainers now.

The WWE Universe is calling up The Rock vs Roman Reigns for a long time now. However, upon the recent rumors, many fans weren’t happy about it. Moreover, they shared their reactions on Twitter regarding The Rock’s return.
The Great One should just come on the show and ask for a match!
Honestly Rock vs Reigns is personal and about family. It doesn't need the title.
Rock is one of my all-time favorites. He doesn't need to win the Rumble.
He can come back tomorrow and say he wants to face Reigns, no explanation needed.

This is why I literally stopped watching wwe. That spot should be reserved for people who had the best year in WWE, not someone who's related to the champion. People like Cena complain that nobody steps up, well why the fuck would they if a legend can just come in and get a spot
