Surprisingly, some of the fans weren’t on the same page as Johnson’s tweet. They had shocking comments for ‘The Great One’ while he shared about Black Adam’s future in DCEU.
Fans bash Dwayne Johnson as he shares the Black Adam character’s future in the DCEU
As The Rock shared an update regarding Black Adam’s future, some of the fans took a shot at him. They claimed the statement means they indirectly fired Black Adam from DCEU. Also, the possible Black Adam sequel that was in rumors for next year might not happen.
Subsequently, the fans also brought up the question of Johnson not speaking a word for Henry Cavill. In the statement, he promoted his tequila brand but didn’t speak about the British actor, which angered the fans.
Not impressed with the numbers of the film.
But you didn’t “do great.” 15 years to bring a movie to screen only to achieve a 39% RT rating and less than $400 million worldwide. How’s that humble pie taste?

I didn’t see Black Adam, but I’m taking it – based on this – that people really didn’t like it. If so, a rare defeat for The Rock…you almost never see him do something that isn’t successful in some way. No one bats 1.000. No one. Good lesson for all of us.

Does this mean James Gunn indirectly fired Dwayne Johnson?
So he basically fired the Rock while saying “maybe sometime eventually there is a 0.00001% chance you can come back”. Same thing he did with Cavill. #FireJamesGunn https://t.co/THB9m5MJun

Maybe DJ should leave superhero genre films and resume making action movies as per this fan
Btw, Black Adam was horrible, you look nothing like the character, sound nothing like the character and acted very bad, well in general the acting was horrible. Stick to making lil action movies.

Fans still bashing The Rock for not yet speaking anything over Henry Cavill’s DC firing
And not a single word about Henry Cavill…I expected more from you. I mean, you couldn’t stop mentioning him before release date, but now even your Tequila brand gets a mention and not him…

I mean this is all well and good but you aren't going to say anything about cavill at all? Not even a
"Hey man I'm sorry I roped you into this after being fired and insisted you go public just so you could be fired again and humilated"?— Kiernin OCG Rhys (@KierninRhys) December 21, 2022
