“When She Drinks…” Dwayne Johnson Hilariously Roasts $80M Worth Female Hollywood Star After Praising Her in 2021

The amount of respect Dwayne Johnson has for his co-stars is one of the reasons for the great chemistry he has with them. He creates a comfortable environment with his co-actors and fun moments with them on the sets as well as in promotional interviews.

Over the years, The Rock has acted with several top actors. However, once he dedicated one of his major achievements to a top Hollywood actress after hilariously roasting her.

In 2021, Dwayne Johnson won the People’s Choice Award for The Jungle Cruise. In his speech, The Rock stated this win is not for him alone and dedicated this win to his co-star Emily Blunt. E! Insider shared the video on their YouTube channel.

The WWE legend said, “When it comes to comedy, maybe I’m decently funny. I could tell a decent dirty joke, especially when I have too much tequila. But I will say that with comedy, it always takes a great partner.”

Johnson added, “And this one goes out to this great woman who is one of the greatest actors of our generation, of our time. She is brilliant, she’s funny (and) she’s almost as filthy as me, especially when she drinks tequila. Emily Blunt, this is for you. Thank you, guys.”

These words are enough to claim how much DJ respects the work of his Jungle Cruise co-actor. Moreover, they had tremendous fun while promoting their movie last year.

The Rock had claimed to be a huge fan of Blunt’s work and was happy to do a film together. However, the duo wishes to do more films together as the fans adore their chemistry on screen even after one movie.

While promoting Jungle Cruise, Johnson and Blunt shed a light on doing more films. They talked about a possible sequel for their first movie. Furthermore, the duo also thinks they should plan a few movie projects in the coming years apart from Jungle Cruise.

Surprisingly, for the Teth Adam actor to get Blunt on board for Jungle Cruise was a hectic task. He wrote letters, shared the script, and even share some videos in which he requested her to join the cast. 

However, the British actress who had just come out of a busy schedule wanted some time to rest. Nevertheless, in the end, when the director of the film personally visited her, she immediately accepted the role. The director explained the script and showed DJ’s video to make Blunt say yes to the movie.
