“What’s Wrong Ma?”: Dwayne Johnson Leaves His 74-Year-Old Mother Teary-Eyed on Christmas Once Again

One of the most positive traits of Dwayne Johnson is being thankful for everything. He is very grateful to his mother, Ata Johnson, for who he will do anything to see her happy.

Normally, ‘The Brahma Bull’ gifts several things for his mom. One of those is the homes he gifted her, which has made her emotional. But this Christmas there was a different story for her to get emotional.

He talked about a Johnson family tradition which shows how highly he keeps his mother in his life.

Ata Johnson gets into tears after getting a Christmas gift from Dwayne Johnson 

The moral of the story, ‘The Rock is very close to his mother’. He often makes several gestures to make Ata Johnson, 74, happy and see the smile on her face. But recently, after getting the Christmas gift, she shed a tear recalling the festival they celebrated during their struggling days.

The ‘Brahma Bull’ started the caption with, “We’ve come a long way” ~ @atajohnson 🥺🥺 (you can hear me ask “what’s wrong ma?… you ok?”) Johnson family Christmas tradition, my mom will open her first gift and always start crying 😢😊”

Further, Johnson talked about how being grateful has been the “anchor” of his “family on Christmas Day”. Also, ‘The Great One’ recalled “some rough Christmas’” they saw, which left his mom in tears. He called his tears the “ tears of gratitude” that will always come down on at every moment.

However, The Rock knows what will stop his mother’s tears, and he was ready for it. He wrote, “Her tears sure dried up quick though when she opened up that little box on her lap from Dwanta Claus”

At the end of the caption, on behalf of his family, DJ wished a “Merry Christmas” to all his fans and their families. However, he added two hashtags to end to sentence “#comealongway and #gratitude”. 

Throwback to The Rock’s Christmas present for his father Rocky Johnson

As close as DJ is to his mother, he was also close to his father. Even though he claims to have a strange relationship with Rocky Johnson, he loved and cared for him. In 2016 for Christmas he gifted ‘The Soulman’ his own house.

The Rock wrote on Instagram, “Bought my dad a Christmas gift and surprised him. He’s had a hard life. This one felt good.”

Further, the 10-time world champion also shared a story of Rocky Johnson’s childhood Christmas. Indeed, he felt good doing this for his father and becoming “Dwanta Clause” to fulfill The Soulman’s wish.
