The quarterback for the XFL team St. Louis BattleHawks, AJ McCarron, is setting a prime example as a father. He recently shared about joining XFL so that his 6-year-old could see him play. He was the quarterback for NFL team Atlanta Falcons before being drafted to XFL’s St. Louis BattleHawks.

This spirit impressed The Rock, and he shared a tweet appreciating McCarron. DJ wrote, “Takes less money signing with us over the@NFL because he wanted his little boys to see him play.”

The former Calgary Stampeders added, “Now he’s 2-0 and led his team to back to back exciting last minute wins. I’d say he’s creating some memories for his boys. AJ’s decision means a helluva lot to me, personally. #XFL”

McCarron also shared that he would have stayed in the NFL for a mega comeback and a bigger money contract. However, he wasn’t sure where the future would’ve taken him there. Therefore, the 32-year-old joined XFL for a less pay and to play in front of his kids.
