“Dancing With a Buffalo”: Dwayne Johnson Once Proved Millionaire Hollywood Actress Wrong With His ‘Smooth as Butter’ Like Dance Moves

Everyone has seen Dwayne Johnson have action-packed moments in his movies. Moreover, ‘The Brahma Bull’ can also sing, which he did in Moana, and can also rap. But the 50-year-old can also dance and once he shocked a 37-year-old famous Hollywood actress with his dancing skills.

The WWE legend made sure he danced with his co-star Gal Gadot safely as she was nervous DJ might injure her.

In November 2021, The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot took part in IMDB’s segment ‘Answer Your Burning Questions’. The stars were promoting Red Notice in which Johnson and Gadot have a dance scene together.

‘The Great One’ shared how Gadot was tensed when they were pitched the dance scene. She thought DJ would crush her toes, but that didn’t happen.

Johnson said, “She was afraid at first and I was just gonna be a lunky dancer and like crush her feet like she was dancing with a buffalo. Little she knew she was dancing with a man who dances like butter, smooth as butter.”

The WWE legend added, “So her feet were fine. It was her heart that was in trouble. There is a lot of cheese on these pizzas that I’m serving up here in this interview.”

The Red Notice stars were talking about the scene which comes toward the end of the movie. Johnson and Gadot have a dance during a party, while they were secretly having a conversation.

It was fun for both the stars to film this scene. Furthermore, this part was shot during the pandemic and was hard to film as there was no one in the scene due to covid protocols.

How many films The Rock and Gal Gadot have done together?

Several fans saw Gadot and DJ in Red Notice for the first time. However, that is not the first time they shared the screen for the first time.

Prior to teaming up with Ryan Reynolds, Gadot and Johnson acted together in the Fast and Furious Franchise. The 37-year-old actress joined the franchise in the fourth movie, while the WWE legend debuted in the fifth installment.

The duo then acted in the sixth movie of the franchise. Gadot left the Fast and Furious movies as her character dies in the sixth film. Moreover, Johnson was a part till the eighth movie before leaving the franchise after his beef with Vin Diesel.

In total, they have done three movies together. But Gadot is not the part of Red Notice sequel Red One, which DJ is filming currently.
