After Seeing Him Join Superheroes, Dwayne Johnson Picked Up Another Vin Diesel Trick for His Acting Career in 2019

There is no doubt about Dwayne Johnson being one of the current top action heroes in Hollywood. The fight scenes and all other action-packed dramas are something that has kept the fans hooked on his films, similar to actor Vin Diesel.

Clearly, The Rock doesn’t do all of his stunts by himself as a stuntman is involved in several extreme action scenes. But he does take part in several fight scenes himself sometimes.

However did you know the former WWE star has rules when it comes to taking a beating onscreen? He started this after learning about Vin Diesel, has had one for several years.

Dwayne Johnson added clause in his contract because Vin Diesel had it

A couple of months ago, Unilad covered a report of the Wall Street Journal. If you have observed the Fast and Furious films, the main stars never lose a fight. This started with Vin Diesel having a clause for the same. Looking at that, actors Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham requested for the same.

As per the WSI report, “According to producers and crew members on the films, Mr. Statham, 51 years old, negotiated an agreement with the studio that limits how badly he can be beaten up on screen.”

It added, “Mr. Johnson, 47, enlists producers, editors and fight coordinators to help make sure he always gives as good as he gets.”

The Unilad report also states that in a scene in the movie Fate of the Furious, after taking the beating, DJ didn’t lie down. Instead, he was sitting after taking the beating.

Nevertheless, actors like The Rock, Diesel, and Statham have a reputation as action heroes. Therefore, it wouldn’t make sense if they lose a fight clean in the film, which might reduce their credibility as action movie stars.

Also, this clause was handy when DJ starred as Black Adam. The ruler of Khandaq is a powerful DC character and rarely loses. But if DJ and Henry Cavill did a movie in DC, Black Adam might have to take a loss, as nothing stands in front of Superman.

There were several reactions in which fans wrote that the new Co-Ceo of DC should cast Vin Diesel as Teth Adam. This was a shocking and surprising thing that ran on Twitter, even though Diesel and Johnson have a bad history together.
