$200 Million Worth TV Host Reveals How Dwayne Johnson Turned His “Stupid Put Down” Into Gold During His WWE Prime

Before completely transitioning into a Hollywood actor, Dwayne Johnson made a name in the wrestling business. He is one of the top WWE superstars of all time who made his mark on the industry. Moreover, the catchphrases in his promos were next level and are still loved by the fans. However, once a famous TV show host recalled The Rock using his dialogue in WWE.

The Howard Stern Show recently shared a video of an interview with Conan O’Brien. The American TV host revealed his former writer Tommy Blacha who went to work with WWE at the time included this line in Dwayne Johnson’s promo.

O’Brien said, “I would go on these long rants and I used to, one of my put downs that I came up with was so stupid but I liked it was I told if a writer was going on or said something I didn’t like, I’d say, ‘Why don’t you go have a nice tall glass of shut up juice alright and do yourself a favor.’”

He added, “It was such a stupid put down but Tommy liked it and then Tommy said to watch the match this weekend. It was The Rock (promo of The Rock saying to Michael Cole – “Well The Rock says this, you should be concerned with fixing yourself a nice tall glass of shut-up juice”.)”

The former Late Night show calls this one of his proudest moments. Furthermore, O’Brien recalls the crowd going crazy hearing this line. He also shared Tommy Blacha apologizing for borrowing the line.

However, the former The Tonight Show host was glad Blacha used it, as Vince McMahon too loved this dialogue. Also, the next week on RAW fans were holding signs of Conan’s dialogue.
