In one of the episode of Table for 3, Booker T, JBL, and Rey Mysterio were praising Cena. While Bradshaw was talking about how the F9 star learned quickly. Moreover, adding to that, ‘The Master of the 619’ talked about how Cena gave valuable tips to Dominik during a match in 2021 against Roman Reigns and The Usos.
Mysterio said, “Which is funny because that knowledge you passed on to John and Kurt (Angle) and everybody when he worked before he became who he became. Just recently, when we had the opportunity to work with Dom and Cena.”
The three-time world champion added, “He worked the same way with Dom. He was like talking and Dom just listening. And I was just standing there listening to him spitting knowledge to Dominick. And every time that we stepped in the ring, it got better and better.”
It seems Dom-Dom really used some of the tips and now is doing a good job. Dominik’s Prison Dom character is not only loved by WWE stars but also by wrestlers outside the company too.
Furthermore, JBL recalled having a 30-minute match with ‘Super Cena’. As per the Hall of Famer, that was Cena’s second half-hour match after wrestling Kurt Angle. This impressed Bradshaw as he said, “Kid is freaking awesome.”
