After the infamous Oscars 2022 incident, it is difficult to imagine Will Smith sharing a laugh. However, WWE superstar Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and his best friend seem to share smiles with Smith in one frame.

Many imagined it was easy for ‘Fresh Prince’ Will Smith to walk up to comedian Chris Rock and slap him on the grandest film stage. But, given the size of Dwayne Johnson, like a massive mountain, would it have been possible for Will Smith to hit The Rock?

The answer is no! Dwayne Johnson did not have the same fate as comedian Chris Rock when he met Smith. In fact, ‘Fresh Prince’ had an exact opposite moment that would surely surprise the fans.

Back in 2016, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his best friend/comedian Kevin Hart hosted the MTV Movie Awards. During the MTV Movie Awards, the WWE Superstar and Kevin Hart had a ball of a time. Not only did Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart have a blast during the movie awards, but the duo also welcomed more celebrities in a frame.

Unlike the Oscars 2022, Will Smith shared a laugh with Johnson, Hart, Halle Berry, and Queen Latifah. So we can see that the four celebrities had the loudest laughs in the room in the picture.

Will Smith attended the 2016 MTV Movie Awards to promote and present the exclusive trailer of the ‘Suicide Squad.’ He presented the exclusive trailer of the film Suicide Squad with actors Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne.

‘Fresh Prince’ received the generation award at MTV Movie Awards 2016

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart also invited the ‘Fresh Prince’ to the stage. In addition, Will Smith received the 2016 Generation Award during the 25th annual MTV Movie Awards at the hands of Halle Berry and Queen Latifah.

Before meeting Halle Berry and Queen Latifah, Will Smith encountered Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart near the ramp. So when the WWE superstar walked up to Smith during the movie awards, Smith greeted him with a hug. Even comedian Kevin Hart shook Smith’s hand and wished him luck for the MTV Movie Awards.

While this event was a joyous occasion for Smith, the Oscars this year were not.

Chris Rock joked about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved hairdo at the Oscars, which was not well received by ‘Fresh Prince’ Smith. Smith walked up to Chris Rock in a flash and slapped the fly out of him at the Oscars stage. He stole the limelight of the night.
