After the passing away of Chadwick Boseman, fans thought the Black Panther sequel would stumble in the theaters. Surprisingly, the movie outranked Black Adam’s entire month’s collection in one weekend. Therefore, shows MCU’s dominance over the box office.
Fans clash over Dwayne Johnson as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever owns Black Adam at the box office
As Forbes shared their report on Twitter, fans had different reactions to it. Some said Johnson failed to live his potential after he promoted the film, while some said DCEU failed even with The Rock as a lead actor.
Additionally, there were fans who claimed Black Adam is a new character on the big screen and Black Panther is well known. Therefore, there are mixed reactions from the fans over the clash between the two MCU and DCEU movies happening lately.

Fans support Black Adam over the Black Panther sequel.
Marvel is currently riding on the wave of what's come before and everyone can see the declining box offices. Black Adam is doing the exact opposite and still broke audience rotten tomatoe records. We'll see who's where in the next few years 😏

Marvel movies have a lot more ground to stand on and a much bigger fan base. DC dosnt.. Black Adam still did decent. Marvel just does to well when it comes to $

BP higher quality, but I enjoyed BA more. BP was slow, and needed a better presence as lead. BA was goofy and bad, but still pretty fun.

Don’t compare the two movies as per fans!
You’re comparing an established movie(BP) & their movie company with a new movie & character(BA), whose company’s big wigs meddled & dismantled a path that was laid out because they couldn’t see the vision & hated a director! Now they just hired co CEOs to run their division 🤷🏾♂️

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, like a sequel to one of the biggest movies everyone knows versus a brand new hero not many ppl have heard of and ppl are to arrogant to like anything DC they just trash on it I like both tho

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was always a hit movie.
everybody knew Black Panther was going to be the biggest movie of this year. not only is it’s marvels third highest grossing film ever, Chadwick Boseman’s legacy must be honored.

What did you expect by combining all the marvel super hero powers and giving them all to Black Adam? 🤣 and then a garbage story on top

Does this surprise anyone though?
Black Panther was never expected to do anything less then great at the box office. Is it better then Black Adam? In terms of character development and story I would say yes. In terms of visuals and spectacle it’s Black Adam. The CG in WF is bad
