John Cena is on his path to becoming another top Hollywood star hailing from WWE. One can be pretty sure that the 16-time world champion is almost near to standing on the top of the chain in the acting world.

However, Cena’s legacy in the world of WWE will always be a memorable one. Similarly, a top Hollywood actress who worked with Cena once shared a funny incident revolving around The Cenation Leader.

One year ago, John Cena, along with Margot Robbie and James Gunn, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. There, the Harley Quinn actress opened up about being a WWE fan as a child. Moreover, she recalled her ex-boyfriend being a diehard John Cena fan.

Robbie said, “I watched WWE when I was growing up. When I was a kid, I loved the Undertaker, and then obviously when I was a teenager I kind of stopped watching. But then, as a late teen, early 20s, I had a boyfriend who was obsessed with John Cena. So much so that he dressed as John Cena for his 21st birthday.”

She added, “He had a cardboard cutout of John Cena in the bedroom. So I slept in a room for two years with a life-size cardboard cutout of John Cena in the room. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and was like oh! It’s just John Cena, it’s okay.”

This is really a hilarious story, that too when you work with a superstar you saw while growing up. The way Robbie described her ex-boyfriend, we can surely assume he would still be a diehard WWE and Cena fan.

Moreover, other fans remember the WWE legend because of his milestones, memorable matches, and over-the-top promos. However, Robbie has a completely different hilarious memory of Cena which they must have surely laughed at after the show.

Margot Robbie felt it weird to share this story with John Cena

The memory The Suicide Squad actress has of Cena is indeed a funny one. She had not shared this story with the former WWE champion until they appeared in Jimmy Kimmel Live. However, she didn’t feel comfortable sharing the same with Cena.

The Harley Quinn actress said, “And it was, I remember thinking, ‘I wonder if now that I’m going to work with John Cena, should I tell him this or is that going to be weird?’ And I thought, ‘I’m just going to keep that to myself. I’m not going to tell him.”

Robbie added, “That’d be a weird way to start our working relationship.’ And then five seconds into meeting him, I’m like, ‘I used to sleep in a room with a life-size cutout of you.’”

However, Robbie, later in the show, claimed after getting to know Cena she didn’t feel weird to share it. Also, the WWE legend’s reaction was priceless after getting to know the way Robbie remembers The Cenation Leader her entire life.
