WWE did not regularly portray this side of Cena on TV, as his babyface character doesn’t allow him to act the same. However, for the past few years, while he is outside WWE promoting his movies, shows, or other things, he opens up the other side of his personality.
Furthermore, his portrayal as The Peacemaker in DCEU earlier this year showed a different part of him. Nonetheless, while he was in his Dr. of Thuganomics character in his early WWE days, he was a heel who dissed his opponents through raps.
