Almost two months after the release of Black Adam, we can see how and in which direction the DCEU is going. It seems Dwayne Johnson failed to live up to his statement of ‘changing the course of DC Extended Universe’. However, it is not that he never tried to do so, but it wasn’t what the studios were planning to do.
Moreover, the co-CEO of DCEU, James Gunn, brought new plans. Those new plans had Henry Cavill let go of his role as Superman. Reportedly, Gunn is planning to cast a new actor as Superman.

But, after this news flashed all around social media, the fans blamed The Rock for the firing of Cavill. The 39-year-old British actor was one of the most loved actors to ever play the role of Superman.

‘The Brahma Bull’ is one of the biggest fans of DC Universe. Moreover, Black Adam was his dream project for nearly a decade. Also, he was successful in bringing Henry Cavill back into the DCEU, but Gunn flushed out all the plans DJ thought there would be.
Sadly, the DC fans weren’t impressed by the WWE legend for talking about the future plans of the studios, when he wasn’t a top official. They blamed DJ for Cavill’s unfortunate departure from DCEU. There were several reactions on Twitter expressing their views.
This fan isn’t a fan of how DJ promoted Black Adam and how Henry Cavill’s Superman journey ended.

Did the Man of Steel 2 film would had the same fate as Black Adam?

Clearly, the fans aren’t happy over Gunn firing Cavill from DCEU. Moreover, they claimed Johnson was the reason the British actor left the studio.
James Gunn might scrap plans for Black Adam 2
The co-chairman of DC recently shared the new plans for future movies. He announced Henry Cavill not returning as Superman and DC will sign a new actor for the role. However, there are rumors for Black Adam 2 may get scrapped too.

Black Adam earned a box office collection of $389 million as they made the movie with a budget of around $190 million to $230 million. Also, the film got mixed reviews, and it seems Gunn is also a fan of taking the Black Adam character further.
