Even though Black Adam got mixed reviews, the world got to see DC’s two of the powerful characters on screen in the end. Like Henry Cavill played Superman in previous films, Dwayne Johnson had a huge chip on his back while playing Black Adam.
The superhero genre isn’t easy to play, but The Rock went that extra mile to own the character. His ex-wife once shed a light on how a common trait DJ and Cavill had while playing superhero characters.

Speaking with Bustle Dany Garcia talked about how superhero movies have made the actors to train hard to play the character. She referred to Cavil and Johnson training for Superman and Black Adam extensively.
Garcia said, “Asking anyone to take the walk of building a physique that is a superhero physique, the time and the commitment is intense. The easy part for us — which is really interesting, because nothing’s easy — is that I have a passion for it. My husband has a passion for it. Dwayne has a passion for it. Henry has a passion for it.”
She added, “They love training. And when you’re playing a superhero, there is a truth to the authenticity of training, and to grow muscle. You actually care. There is a grind, there is a rebuilding. And that’s a very grounding experience. It’s a very disciplined experience.”
Further, she added how training to play a particular character one has to adapt it. This is the closest the stars get to their monicker. Also, she added, if the transformation doesn’t happen, it affects the film.

A few days ago, news broke about the 39-year-old actor firing Garcia as his manager and the agency WME too. Surprisingly, it was also said that he had done this week before DCEU’s departure as per a report by Matt Belloni from The Puck.
The Direct covered this report and shared it on Twitter. However, they deleted the tweet after The Rock’s response. The Brahma Bull straightforwardly called it rumors by tweeting, “100% not true”
Surprisingly, it was Garcia who advocated Cavill’s appearance in Black Adam. Moreover, DJ went over former President of DC Films Walter Hamada’s word to have the British actor wear his Superman cape again.
