Dwayne Johnson really loves to take his workouts to the next level. More interestingly, it is one of his beloved hobbies to train his muscles; even on weekends, sometimes. While many would prefer to stay cozy at home, The Rock gets crazy pushing and pulling heavyweights in his Iron Paradise.
Similarly, Johnson was doing a leg workout recently, with a 100lbs dumbbell. Here, The Great One, who has slammed 300+ lbs Superstars in WWE, needed to take rest after a 100lbs workout, but there’s a catch.

A few hours ago, Dwayne Johnson shared a video on Instagram in which we can see him squatting. However, he was doing sumo-squats of 100lbs, for which he wrote, “Killer finisher. 5 monster sets. 100lb DB sumo squat with 3 second negative and 1 second pause at bottom.”
Furthermore, DJ shared steps to follow while doing a perfect sumo squat with a dumbbell, heavyweight, or lightweight. He wrote, “* don’t let dumbbell touch the floor, * for grip strength hold dumbbell with just fingertips 🙌🏾, * slight lean forward”

However, we all know The Rock who easily ‘Rock Bottom’-ed 360 lbs WWE legend Mark Henry. But the 50-year-old really got tired after doing a chain of exercises, including sumo squats.

And it was because he performed them without any breaks in between. Johnson wrote, “This is the final exercise of 4 exercise – all performed back to back with no rest in between.” The Great One really goes to the next level while lifting weights in his gym.
He added, “Leg press, Hack squat, Chain lunges, DB sumo squat It’s a b*tch. Give it a shot. Have fun. #HumoDay #IronParadise #7am”
Michael Phelps reacts to the leg workout of Dwayne Johnson
The Rock and Phelps are great friends and we have seen the same whenever they meet. They both have a fitness knack and have maintained themselves very well.
Michael Phelps replied to the post shared by Johnson and his leg workout indeed impressed him. The Olympic gold medalist said, “Lfg!! A Little burner is always good💪💪”
Both the stars like to challenge in a friendly competition. Similarly, Phelps once called out DJ while he was training for his final Olympics. He shared a picture while doing one-arm dumbbell rows.

While promoting Baywatch, Dwayne Johnson and Michael Phelps made a promo video. In the video, Phelps interviewed DJ to join work as a lifeguard.
