Dwayne Johnson Once Took a Subtle Dig at Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman While Glorifying Arnold Schwarzenegger And Other Action Stars: “Kick Some F**king A**”

Action films have always been a favorite genre of a large number of fans. In the past, actors like Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, made a mark in this genre. But in modern-day action films, Dwayne Johnson is ruling over the fans with his action-packed films.

The fans have always loved The Rock and also tried to be like them. Once DJ gave his take on what quality of him makes him stand out.

A long time ago in 2005, while Dwayne Johnson was kick-starting his acting career, he sat for an interview with Playboy. The host asked him, “You are considered the newest in a line of action stars that includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Sly Stallone. Besides brawn, what do you guys have that makes women love you and men want to be you?”

The WWE legend gave an answer by taking a shot at Spiderman, who actor Tobey Maguire at the time played. Johnson says, “Women might like the every man appeal, Arnold’s accent, Sly’s abs, Bruce’s a**.”

He added, “Men find an action hero believable if they can say, “Wow, I believe this guy can really kick some f**king a**, mine included.” I loved Spider-Man, but I’m not too sure Tobey Maguire could kick my or a lot of other people’s a**es”

Fans often compare ‘The Great One’ with Arnold Schwarzenegger for his physique and movies. They both have a similar path of success in Hollywood and are top action heroes in the acting world.

Dwayne Johnson once said becoming an actor was not for money initially

The Rock is today one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. However, while transitioning, Johnson didn’t look at how much he would make from acting. The reason he stated when the Playboy host asked him.

The host asked, “When you were making the transition were you tempted by a big check for a bad script?”

The Brahma Bull replied, “This was never about money because I had a pretty penny by the time the movies happened. Nothing seemed right for me until The Mummy Returns. Small role, little dialogue. I thought, Less chance to mess up.”

The Rock had enough money to survive for a few years while transitioning into an actor. Furthermore, today Dwayne Johnson is a huge name all over the world as an actor and as a WWE legend. He has acted in 40+ movies and it is safe to say he has given a hundred percent in every movie.
