Fans often consider Dwayne Johnson as modern days Arnold Schwarzenegger. Both celebrities have a similar story of entering the acting business after making a successful first career.

However, ‘The Rock’ is a huge fan of the ‘Austrian Oak’ since his childhood. Also, he has claimed several times about starting to lift weights after watching Arnie. Moreover, once DJ also tried to impersonate the bodybuilding legend.

A few years ago, in 2017, Dwayne Johnson shared a video on his Instagram. He started captions for the post with, “Nailed it. Enjoy me completely butchering my best @schwarzenegger impersonation while rehearsing on set of #Rampage.”

In the video, Johnson impersonated Arnold Schwarzenegger, saying, “(Starts with something gibberish) Come get me.”

Everybody laughs as the WWE legend adds, “That’s f**cking awful Arnold (laughs) impersonation. That’s you, Brad. Yes, that s*cks.” After some laughs, he said his dialogue again in his style, “So you be gone!”

Furthermore, DJ shared a story of him thinking of the ‘Austrian Oak’ as a hero when he was a kid. Fast forward, Johnson recalled Schwarzenegger welcoming him with open arms into Hollywood. When ‘The Rock’ the entered acting world Arnie was already a world-famous actor alongside being a well-known retired bodybuilder.

Also, Johnson shared about the first dinner with The Governator. He wrote, “First time we had dinner he said, “You can take the brass ring to places it’s never been before” in his iconic accent which clearly I suck at. 15 long hard working years later, here I am. Grateful. This one’s for you brother. #YoBigDawg #OnSet #Rampage 💪🏾”

Throwback to Arnold Schwarzenegger warning Dwayne Johnson about some Jabronis in Hollywood

In 1999, The Governator appeared on an episode of WWE SmackDown. Schwarzenegger was there for the entire show and met most of the blue brand’s roster. Nevertheless, while walking in the locker room area, he met ‘The Rock’ and told him about some jabronis in Hollywood.

Arnie said, “I can smell what you’re cooking Rock, I can tell you that. By the way….there a lot of Jabronis in Hollywood too.”

Johnson replied, “Hasta la Vista” to Schwarzenegger’s statement. However, the 7-time Mr. Olympia winner who broke into Hollywood was telling DJ how the acting world will be. Surprisingly, when The Rock transitioned into an actor, he too faced some jabronis, of which Arnie warned him.

Also, the actual reason why the bodybuilding legend was on SmackDown was to promote his then-movie ‘End of Days’.
