The year 2024 has started and WWE fans have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the next installment of the video game, WWE 2k. The video game has garnered a cult following over decades as fans get a chance to don the characters of their favorite pro wrestlers from the company. While the promotion has teased that the release might be on the horizon, fans have shared what they want from the video game this year.

WWE’s big announcement

The WWE 2k page took to Instagram to make the big announcement. The official page shared the first logo on the internet with the caption, “#NewProfilePic.” The new logo adapts to a new color scheme for this year’s installment. Fans could see that the color scheme for this year is a mix of different shades of blue.

Considering the usual pattern of the release, fans could expect the game to be available by March 2024. Apart from that, WWE 2k Games has stated that a major reveal will be shared on January 22, 2024.

Considering that the announcement came just a couple of weeks before the 2024 Royal Rumble, fans could expect to see a feature of the game on the big night. Apart from that, the rumors on the new game modes, editions, and others are scarce.

However, since the logo has dropped, fans have been quite excited. But few fans have openly shared what they want from the new installment

What fans want from WWE 2k24

Fans flocked to the internet to share what they want to be changed from the video game this year. And it is safe to say that the list is quite long. One fan in particular highlighted how the servers have been an issue in the previous installments. The fan wants the “doo doo servers” to be fixed amongst a myriad of other things.

One more topic of discussion was the removal of the MyFACTION feature. The feature was seen first with WWE 2k22 and has been a staple since then. However, it has faced some backlash due to inconsistent online matching and AI functions. Hence, few fans want the feature to be removed this year.

Another fan pointed out that it is the year 2024. If this installment does not include special features like online co-op mode or GM mode along with special matches like Guest Referee and Buried Alive amongst many others, then the game might not have anything noteworthy to provide to the fans.
