CM Punk has seen some significant physical changes over his career in pro wrestling. With each persona or gimmick he’s played, he’s done something to reflect it in his physical appearance. Unfortunately, each WWE 2K game only uses the current or a select number of appearances for wrestlers. Fans of the Second City Saint weren’t happy with the character model the company was giving them in the upcoming ECW bundle.

Ahead of the game’s release in March, WWE announced Punk’s involvement via a DLC pack. However, fans were not quite happy about this. Nevertheless, one WWE 2K game modder had everyone’s back with a brilliant announcement.

@WhatsTheStatus is the social media account of a WWE 2K24 game modder. His unique WWE star’s skins have taken the fan base by storm. Since the game’s release, he’s uploaded updated skins for almost every big name on the roster. Using the ‘Community Creation’ center, fans have downloaded multiple unique skins for the star. Along with the skins, you get add-ons for your wrestlers. These include a new entrance theme, a commentary soundtrack, and more. In his recent post regarding new Punk skins, he featured masked Punk. After losing his hair at WrestleMania 23, Punk doned a luchador-style mask for a few months.

The other variants of Punk include the long hairstyle, long hair plus beard, and the most loved version before Punk left the company in 2013. Downloading the skins is a walk in the park. On the home screen, head to the ‘Online’ menu options, followed by the ‘Community Creations’ tab. Once inside, find ‘Downloads.’ This is where all your downloaded skins can be found which are created by the community. These are free to use and often only affect the visual and audio of the game while not tampering with the overall gameplay. Next, click on ‘Superstars,’ which will allow you to see all the downloadable mods for the roster.

On the PS5, click the ‘Y’ button to bring up the search bar. Here, you will move down to ‘HashTags’ followed by ‘Custom.’ This will allow you to search for custom-created superstar mods and skins. Since the skins have not yet been uploaded, fans must wait to find out what title to search for. The account user always adds the specific titles fans can search for to find his mods. WWE fans can find a plethora of cool and unique skins to download using the search hashtags found on the user’s X social media account.
