The Judgment Day lost their tag team undisputed championships tonight at Fastlane. Yes, you read that right. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso beat Damian Priest and Finn Balor to win the gold. And it looks like JD McDonnagh will be paying for it.

Senor Money in the Bank already has a strong dislike towards McDonagh, but tonight’s event might make him more bitter towards the 33-year-old star.

JD McDonagh accidentally hits Damian Priest with the MITB briefcase

The Judgment Day tasted disappointment tonight as they lost their gold to their opponents. But a lot of that is to blame on McDonagh. During the final moments of the match, as The Judgment Day tried to cause distraction, he accidentally hit Priest’s bad knee with Money in the Bank briefcase and injured it further.

Uso and Rhodes capitalized on this moment and pinned Finn Balor in the middle of the ring to get a Big W. As Priest was injured from McDonagh’s unintentional blow to the knee, he couldn’t save his tag team partner from getting pinned.

Is McDonagh in a lot of trouble?

It is not a secret that Priest didn’t like McDonagh from day 1 and now he just gave him a big reason to dislike him even more. In fact, fans believe them the injured star will seek retaliation against McDonagh for injuring him and costing him and his partner their tag team gold.
