His surprise return, which was rumored, was a result of Rey Mysterio making a phone call after SmackDown on October 6. The Puerto Rican star arrived at the right moment to aid his team in a win.

Charlotte Flair Vs. Asuka Vs. Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship

Iyo Sky pinned Charlotte Flair to retain her belt, courtesy of a distraction from Bayley. Flair, who was looking to win her 15th world title, had Sky locked, but the referee was distracted by the Damage CTRL leader.

By the time the official could see, Sky had Charlotte in the pin position, ensuing the count and a win. Earlier, Asuka had used her mist- a potent weapon- on The Queen, who managed to survive the ordeal. With the win, Sky managed to extend her title run.

LA Knight and John Cena Vs. The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa)

LA Knight hit the Blunt Force Trauma on Jimmy Uso to pick the win. This match was a back-and-forth between the two siblings and their opponents. Most importantly, it also set up the plot for a future John Cena Vs. Solo Sikoa match, as the two stars had a one-on-one moment during the bout.

Before the bout started, it was Pat McAfee- who returned to the WWE after his September 15 appearance on SmackDown- to welcome the WWE’s greatest of all time.
