Ever since Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after injury, he has been pursuing gold in the Stamford-based promotion. At Fastlane he finally won a title (Undisputed Tag Team Championship), but not the one he so desperately craved (Undisputed Universal Championship).

But a victory is still a victory, right? On his grand win at Fastlane tonight, his wife Brandi Rhodes hyped him after his bout. Brandi Rhodes has always been Cody Rhodes’ greatest supporter and his biggest hype buddy. She is always there to celebrate all of his accomplishments, like a proud wife.

Tonight Rhodes won his first championship in WWE after his return earlier this January at Royal Rumble. Reacting to this achievement, Brandi Rhodes went to her official X (formerly known as Twitter) account to drop an encouraging message.

Tagging her husband on her most recent Twitter post, she wrote, “Run that score up.”

Rhodes has now his first championship since his return to WWE last year after leaving AEW. It must have been a very proud moment for Brandi Rhodes to witness her husband mount the ladder of success, though his pace has been very slow.

Is Rhodes’ story ever going to be complete?

The ultimate goal in Rhodes’ mind is to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for sure. But he is looking nowhere close to completing his American Dream. Ever since he lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, hurdles and obstacles in his road to success have forced him to go astray from his destined path.

First, it was Brock Lesnar. Rhodes had to spend a considerable amount of time, energy, and effort dealing with ‘The Beast Incarnate.’ And when he was done with him, Dominik Mysertio was sent his way to distract him from the ultimate goal for a brief period.

With the tag team titles on his shoulder, his focus will again change and get directed towards retaining the gold he just won. Amidst all this, how is he going to complete his story? The WWE Universe is very much interested in seeing him finish his story. So at one point, WWE will have to give the fans what they want.
