As announced by WWE on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, the game has been announced as the finalist for the Academy of Interactive Arts and Science (AIAS) awards. The game will be competing with EA Sports FC 24 and MLB The Show 23 in the Sports Game of the Year category.

The award will be presented to the winners at the 27th Annual DICE Awards hosted by the AIAS on February 15, 2024. The DICE was established back in 1996 and since then has been acknowledging individuals, teams, and the games developed by them that have impacted the entertainment industry.

The game was launched back on March 14, 2023, and developed by Visual Concept Studios. It was published by the award-winning 2K Games.
