“Crappy Model…”, “Please Be Serious”: Days After Dominik Mysterio Complaints, Fans Call Out WWE 2K23 Over a Hall of Famer’s In-Game Portrayal

The WWE2K23 is nearing its much-awaited launch. With a launch date of 17th March, fans cannot wait to get their hands on the new game. However, fans have raised their concerns over Dominik Mysterio’s un-updated game character. And now they have highlighted the same issue with a WWE Hall of Famer’s character.

The game announced the inclusion of some legendary names to the mix, earlier this month. The iconic performer of yesteryear Amy Dumas aka Lita was also a part of it. But social media users have shown their disdain over the lack of any freshness to her in-game character.

Fans reacted to the social media post, which disclosed Lita’s rating for the game. While she notched up an impressive overall score of 90, they weren’t too pleased with the repetitive render. They shared their disdain on social media.

Needless to say, fans are quite disappointed by the lack of character upgrades for the former Women’s champion, especially her appearance in the video game. They are more hurt by the lack of efforts to even build the character anything remotely relatable to reality. The fact that her game version is still sporting the same attire from 2015 has also annoyed many fans.

As mentioned earlier, the lack of any update on The Judgement Day member Dominik Mysterio’s attire in WWE 2K23 has drawn massive flak. There have been a few questions raised over the ratings assigned as well. ‘The Man Becky Lynch getting a higher rating than Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair has not sat well with many fans.

Interestingly, Lynch is set to team up with Lita this week to take on Bayley-managed Damage Ctrl. The Hall of Famer has been a game-changer in nullifying the number advantage previously enjoyed by the heel faction.

The gamer community wants to have an experience that is much closer to reality. But in the case of Lita, it is far from it. The failure in terms of the junior Mysterio’s character also highlights that this is a common theme this year.

The game’s developers would do well to take notes of the problems. An initial look at the fans’ reaction suggests there might be plenty of them and that is even before the game is officially launched.
