Prior to his WWE return in 2022, Cody Rhodes was never seen as a top star in WWE. His departure and hard work to prove himself outside his comfort zone earned him the respect of WWE. And ever since his return, he has always been featured as the new face of the company.

This push and his popularity were arguably two of the main reasons behind him being the cover star for WWE 2K24. Only time shall tell if this signifies that Rhodes will be potentially finishing his story this year.

While Cody Rhodes stars as the cover star for the original edition, 2K dropped another cover starring Dwayne Johnson and several other legends for the ’40 Years of WrestleMania’ mode.
