Johnson mentioned in his latest tweet on X that his US Army Veteran cousin goes by the name Ben. He is a 16-year decorated Navy SEAL Command member of SEAL TEAM 6. During his time in the U.S. Navy’s primary special operations force, he was awarded multiple Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart recipient for his bravery and courage.

He also received the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Well, Ben has inspired not only ‘The People’s Champion’ but a lot of other people, especially Call of Duty makers, who asked him to become a member of their team as a playable character in the video game series.

Ben is the inspiration for The Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Warrior Pack

The makers of COD took inspiration from Ben when they designed The Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Warrior Pack in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. It encompasses both his military service and our Samoan heritage. Johnson made it known that 100% of the net proceeds from the pack would be dedicated to supporting veterans in their search for meaningful employment after their military service.
