John Cena unexpectedly returned to WWE after the WGA strike took over Hollywood and hampered Cena’s progress as a Hollywood star. He was soon confronted by Paul Heyman on SmackDown who refused to acknowledge John Cena as the GOAT. The wise man for the Tribal Chief considers Roman Reigns as the GOAT and hence took Cena’s return as a hindrance.

Though Cena just wanted to interact with the WWE crowd, Heyman released The Enforcer of The Bloodline to prey upon Cena leading to a match at Crown.

16-times World Champion John Cena tweeted on X on November 4th ahead of his match, “Every moment matters. Every opportunity to prove yourself is worth giving your best. Let’s turn this math around. #WWECrownJewel is must-win.”

Cena was referring to his singles match against The Enforcer of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa. His tweet was in response to WWE’s tweet made on November 4th with the caption, “Who ya got when  @JohnCena goes one-on-one with @WWESoloSikoa TODAY at #WWECrownJewel?“

John Cena’s last televised singles win came against Triple H at The Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018 in Saudi Arabia. He was determined to break the sequence of his losses as seemed from his pre-match tweet.

However, Solo Sikoa carried on with his winning streak to the match. In a moment of paying homage to the late Umaga, Solo delivered 11 monstrous Samoan Spikes to slay John Cena.

Fans acknowledge John Cena despite a loss at Crown Jewel

Unfortunately for Cenations fans, John Cena lost the match to Solo Sikoa after a brutal sequence of over 10 Samoan Spikes. Though Cena failed to keep on to his promise, fans did not fail to acknowledge Cena on social media.

One fan was disappointed with Cena’s loss after the build-up and tweeted, “They really wasted 2-3 months of cena’s last full time run for him to lose to solo at the end”

Another fan acknowledged John Cena for his time. He tweeted, “Thank You JOHN CENA”

One fan speculated Cena’s retirement and tweeted, “It can’t end like this not like this”

One fan recalled John Cena’s statement from his interview at After the Bell podcast and said, “And he continues to give it all away. What. A. Man.”

One fan showed dissent at WWE’s booking decision against Cena. The fan tweeted, “Complete Disappointment from @wwe Decision. This time #JohnCena needs one Victory. Thank you Cena.”
